Your readings, highlights, reading progress, preferences, and other library information are stored locally on your device.
On-Device Intelligence
Red Pilcrow’s AI-assisted reading features are processed locally on supported Apple devices. Content used by these features is not sent to Red Pilcrow servers.
Text Scanning
Red Pilcrow may request access to your camera when you choose to scan printed text. Text recognition is performed using Apple’s on-device technologies. Camera images are not collected or uploaded by Red Pilcrow.
Device Sensors
Red Pilcrow may use on-device sensor information to support reading features, such as detecting changes in device position. This information is processed locally and is not collected or transmitted by Red Pilcrow.
Third Parties
Red Pilcrow does not use advertising trackers or sell information to third parties.
